1974 Kawasaki 903Z1-A This
was the first Kawasaki in-line four (DOHC) double overhead cam released
to the United States. The Kawasaki 900 was first introduced in 1973
- the 900Z1 affectionately know as "Big Birtha",
code name New York Steak. This was the fastest meanest motorcycle
to ever hit the American highway. Kawasaki increased the carborator
jetting and added a new paint scheme for the following year (1974).
Pictured left is my beautiful '74.
All but the seat is stock on my 1974 Kawasaki 903.
The bike was originally purchased by a doctor from New York. This
monster was a bit much for him so he decided to sell it after moving to
California.
