Our ranch is a private home surrounded by the John Muir Wilderness, 10 miles from the nearest road, at 7665 feet elevation. We are open to groups of 15 to 20 people by the week, Saturday to Saturday.
 The adventure begins at Florence Lake where you leave your car, get ferried across the lake and are met by our crew. We pack in all of your luggage and food and you can either hike or ride our horses 4 1/2 miles through the wilderness to the ranch. During your stay our horses are available to take you on day rifdes or overnight trips. (Horses are for ranch guests only.)

 We have eight cozy log cabins and six tent cabins by the south fork of the San Joaquin River, which runs right through the ranch. We also have a library with fireplace, a dining room, and a full kitchen. You bring your own chef, or do all the cooking yourself. We have two wonderful enclosed hot spring baths, lots of clean air and a sky full of stars. Come and experience the wilderness art it's best.
