Michael Focht B.S.
Agronomy and Environmental Science, Delaware Valley College of
Science and Agriculture, Doylestown, PA
Michael has taught 6th grade General Science, 7th grade Life
Science and 8th grade Earth Science at Lehigh Christian Academy
in Philadelphia. While at Lehigh he also coached soccer and track
and field. This will be Michael's first season with Genesis Account
American Outdoor schools.
Sharon Krause B.A.S.
Teaching Life Science and Broad Area Science, University of Minnesota,
Duluth, MN
Sharon holds Minnesota licenses in General Science, grades 5-9;
Life Science, grades 7-12; Chemistry, grades 9-12 and has a Maine
Certification in Physical and Life Science, grades 7-12. She
has taught at the Indian Township School in Princeton, Maine
where she used Discovery Instruction Methods. Her hobbies are
camping, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, travel, music, and
photography. Sharon is Director of Staff Development for Genesis
Account working with the training and evaluation of our instructional
staff. This will be her tenth year with Genesis Account and American
Outdoor School.
Jim Sabedra Major in
Zoology, Palomar Community College, San Marcos, CA
Jim worked with the Green Oak Ranch Nature Center for several
years and has done extensive study in native California plants
and animals. He started with Genesis Account and American Outdoor
Schools as an intern and is now in his ninth year as a regular
staff instructor.
Todd Morgan B.A. Communications,
Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Il
Todd will be coming on this spring from Oregon. He is familiar
with our program, having worked with us for a couple of weeks
as a counselor. He has worked in youth ministry with Clackamas
Bible Church. This will be his first season with Genesis Account
American Outdoor Schools.
Becky Rorabaugh B.A.
Biology, Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA
Becky has worked with Kenbrook Bible Camp in Lebanon, PA, and
Spruce Lake Outdoor Education in PA and has a teaching certificate
from the State of Pennsylvania. This will be Becky' eighth year
with Genesis Account and American Outdoor schools.
Carol Yard B.S. Biology,
Grove City College, Grove City, PA
Carol has worked Project Life in Birmingham, AL; Camp Cedar in
Casco, ME; Don Lee Center, Arapahoe, NC; Jumonville United Methodist
Camp in Hopwood, PA in all these positions she worked as an experiential
or Environmental Educator. She also worked for the U. S. Geological
Survey Biological Resources Division in Dixon, CA and Fort Collins,
CO tracking waterfowl or prairie dogs. She is CPR and First Aid
Certified. This will be her first season with Genesis Account
American Outdoor Schools.

Brian McInnis Environvmental
Engineering Technology, University College of Cape Breton, Sydney,
Nova Scotia, Canada
Brian has developed several environmental trivia games and
an interpretive nature trail. He has also worked several years
with Holmstead Memorial Camp as a counselor and trip leader.
This will be Brians second season with Genesis Account American
Outdoor Schools.
Christine Gibson B.A.
Marine Biology, Barrington College, Barrington, RI
Chris worked with Nature's Classroom as an instructor for 4 th
through 8 th grade students, taught at the Seoul Foreign School
in Seoul, Korea and has a teaching certification from the state
of Maryland. She has also written curriculum for the Department
of Natural Resources for the state of Maryland. Her hobbies include
reading, sewing, hiking, swimming, and canoeing. Chris is also
Associate Director of Genesis Account American Outdoor Schools
and as such handles all program matters related to the organization.
This will be her twelfth year with Genesis Account American Outdoor
Schools.
Kristy Witt M.A. Biology
Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa and a B.A. Biology North Central
College, Naperville, Illinois
Kristy was with several summer camps as first aid person and
lifeguard. This will be her fifth year with Genesis Account American
Outdoor Schools.
Shelena Williams B.S.
Recreation Management emphasis Outdoor Education, Appalachian
State University.
Shelena has worked for Camp McDowell Environmental Center as
an outdoor education instructor as well as Camps Cheerio and
Lutherock as a trip leader and ropes course facilitator. She
is a certified CPR and Wilderness First Aid instructor. This
will be her first season with Genesis Account American Outdoor
Schools.
Pete Boylan B.A. Education
and BS Biology, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green,
OH.
Pete has worked with Geneva Hills Center as an Outdoor Education
and Ropes Course Facilitator. He also worked with Camp Eagle
Fern and the Firs in Washington. Pete is certified in First Aid
and CPR. This will be his third year with Genesis Account American
Outdoor Schools.
