Only 15 miles from Lake Tahoe, Sierra Pines is a four seasons camp in the heart of the high Sierra. At nearly 7000 feet elevation, this site is sure to have good winter snow. However the camp is close enough to I-50 that even in heavy snow it is still accessible. This site has many hiking trails from which to study the High Sierra ecosystem.
